This mixed media work on wood panel is inspired by the raw energy and emotional intensity of Amyl and the Sniffers. Layered with texture, movement, and abrasion, the piece reflects on the repeated “deaths” of the self that occur throughout life, the shedding of identities, illusions, and ego required for growth and transformation.
Balancing aggression with vulnerability, the work embraces impermanence and reinvention, capturing the chaotic process of becoming through destruction, survival, and renewal.
